Feature focus: why ePass is a game changer

Your potential members are time poor and impatient so they’re always looking for ways to fast track the sign-up process. If it means they don’t need to make a special visit to your facility to fill out tedious paperwork for their new membership, all the better! Centaman’s membership management software, the ePass module, will be music to their ears, with the added bonus of working seamlessly with the rest of your leisure centre software. So, what exactly is ePass?

Membership management software and your business

Centaman’s ePass module gives your new members the ability to purchase and register their membership online, and lets existing members renew their membership online too. This is exactly the kind of convenience they need and expect in a fast-paced digital world.

It’s not just convenient for your customers either. When a member purchases or renews their membership using your membership management software, their details, and the transaction details automatically update in your system. Your leisure centre staff don’t need to worry about a thing, so they can focus on the members in your centre and help them have the ultimate guest experience.

While the module is hosted by Centaman, it still looks and feels exactly like your own website, so it’s a familiar experience for your customers.

Register and purchase memberships

Your customers look for convenience and signs of superb service the first time they interact with you – after all, the guest experience doesn’t just start and stop at your doors. You need to consider what kind of impression you make online, whether it’s through social media, your website or your online sign-up tool. Centaman’s ePass module keeps all of this in mind and gives your guests the streamlined sign-up process they’re looking for.

So how does it work? While browsing your website, your soon-to-be member simply needs to click “join” and they’re taken to the module which looks just like your website – one of the module’s major perks! From here, your member simply registers online, select the membership type they’d like, pay through the module and finally receive a temporary pass. All they need to do now is bring this pass when they visit your centre for the first time so your helpful staff can issue them with an official membership card or wrist band. Super simple, right?

Renew memberships

Your existing members won’t miss out on the convenience. They can use your module to maintain their member profile and renew their membership when the time comes.

From Centaman, you can send an automated prompt to your member reminding them to renew their membership before it expires, with a helpful link to the ePass module. All your member needs to do from here is click the link and log in, select “renew” and pay for any outstanding payments upfront. It’s quick and hassle-free so they don’t feel held up by the process.

Purchase family memberships

If one of your members already has their own account, they can choose to register and add their family members, such as their children, to their account so all the memberships can be managed from one place.

Your members can choose to purchase a family membership, and choose different packages and membership types within that family membership. For example, your member may like to attend your gym, so they choose your 12-month membership option. However, their child also likes to attend swimming classes on a more casual basis over the summer school holidays, so your member can choose a ten class swimming pass for them within the one account. Yep, you can cater to entire families with ePass.
