25 Nov Centaman and Tribez connect to make league and venue booking simple
Recreation and leisure facility managers using Jonas Leisure’s Centaman leisure management software can now easily harness a new social sports app designed to promote sports venues and connect potential participants with each other.
The Tribez sports app, developed in Australia, makes it easy for people to search for a venue, court or field in their local area, and make bookings and payments direct from the app. It also helps people find likeminded individuals who want to form a team, making it possible for those who wouldn’t otherwise have been able to get a group together to join a league.
Jonas Leisure chief executive Mike Henton said Centaman users could add their facilities and leagues to the Tribez venue list to make them easy to find by app users. An API integration had been specially set up, enabling court bookings and league registrations made in Tribez to automatically update within Centaman.
“Tribez is a great home-grown app that can add value to any facility offering court hire or sports leagues. There’s no cost to add a venue or league to the app and it can increase visibility of what you have to offer to a whole new audience.”
Other innovative Tribez features include ‘Hotspots’, which shows you courts, fields and pitches in your area where people are playing right now, and a matchmaking system that allows users to join scheduled social sports events with people of a similar skill-level.
A webinar overviewing Tribez features and how the app can be utilised by facilities using Centaman will be offered in December. Anybody wishing to attend the webinar is invited to express their interest by emailing Jonas Leisure Customer Success Manager Dushayant Dhar on ddhar@jonasleisure.com.
